We have had a fantastic week this week celebrating the success of students who have fantastic attendance. Students who are part of the 100% attendance club enjoyed a pizza lunch on Monday and spun the wheel on Thursday for the chance to win vouchers and chocolate coins. Students loved the excitement and buzz in the academy on both days and wear there 100% attendance badge with pride.

We also launched our 12 days of Christmas event that started on Thursday 5 December. Each day a video is shown in form time to reveal the 100% attendance winner with the prizes increasing in value each day. The video’s so far have raised a smile from students seeing members of staff dressed up as Santa and having fun.

Next week we look forward to our first ever Bushtucker Trial with some phenomenal prizes on offer. We will also have our first family attendance rewards of the year to reward and acknowledge that good attendance can be a full family effort. We will have prizes for 100%, 97%+ and the most improved attender. Awards will be announced in the Positive Discipline lesson next week and winning families will be notified by a phone call.

Rewards are also planned next week for students who have 97%+ attendance as we recognise that this is also an excellent achievement and should be rewarded in school.

We have lots planned in the final two weeks of term and are looking forward to continuing to reward students for their fantastic efforts in school every day.
